Fifth edition on the Costa Brava, given entirely to son cubano, with live percussion accompanying the workshops.
Son Na' Ma calls itself the festival of the soneros, and the pitch is narrow on purpose: if son runs in your veins, this is the one.
Live music plays for the workshops as well as in the evenings. The organisers describe a careful, family-sized atmosphere with respect for the dance, and a musical selection to match.
Teaching comes from internationally known instructors with real teaching experience, with workshops at every level and percussion classes aimed at helping dancers understand the music rather than only move to it.
The fifth edition returns to the RVHotels Nautic Park at Platja d'Aro, with full-board packages so dancers, teachers and musicians stay under one roof.
