The Sunny Waves Dance Festival is a vibrant 5-day, 4-night Afro-Latin beach event held in the famous seaside resort of Vama Veche, Romania. Unlike traditional urban congresses hosted in sterile hotel ballrooms, Sunny Waves embraces a laid-back, bohemian holiday vibe. The event is uniquely structured across three distinct beachside venues running simultaneously along the main promenade, allowing dancers to choose their rhythm while enjoying the sea breeze.
While the festival caters broadly to the Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba communities with dedicated party rooms, it stands out in Eastern Europe for its highly energetic, inclusive Cuban dance presence.
